Celebrating our 10th Anniversary




The Peace Bell Foundation in Hopewell Junction is celebrating its 10th Anniversary and will begin this fall seasons with Peace Poles being planted/dedicated at Fishkill Plains Elementary Sept 20th and NFA North in Newburgh. Beginning this year, with encouragement from the Yale Consortium Peace Study,  that Peace should be initiated in the early grades,  we have now developed a 5th grade Peace Essay Contest at Fishkill Plains Elementary and at the 5thgrades of Newburgh’s Elementary Schools. 

The following have been the foundations accomplishments these past 10 years.

    Although many of us listen to music, rarely do we listen to the kind of music that invites us into the inner sanctum of our hearts and souls. For centuries, most western music known to touch the realms of the spirit was created in the context of rituals of religious traditions.
    Following in this long-established tradition of sacred music, we set out to create an intimate audio sanctuary in which the listener might truly hear, feel, and understand the essence of the speaker’s message while having the freedom to have one's own personal experience simultaneously.

Thanksgiving, Children and the Undertones of WAR!

  One of the most thankful things for parents this Thanksgiving Day is that their children are safe and healthy. Unlike children in Ukraine where almost 20,000 children have been kidnapped by Russia’s, Putin and in Gaza where 2,360 have been killed in less than 3 weeks according to UNICEF.    #Thanks # Gratitude # Gratefulness # peace, # inner peace #global peace #undertones of war
